OPENING OF THE THIRD CLASSROOM

On 4 December 2024 our third classroom and the after-school facility were officially opened. The traditional ribbon cutting by David Suck, representing the Département, was a highlight of the event. Thanks were given to all the funders and to everyone who worked on the project at one time or another. We also thank the schools inspector, Mr Laurent Hen, for attending.

MUNICIPAL SAFEGUARD PLAN
Under the law strengthening civil protection, every municipality must draw up a "Plan Communal de Sauvegarde" (PCS). This plan is a guide for elected officials that gathers in one document all the resources needed to manage, as well and as quickly as possible, a sudden event of varying severity (from heatwave or extreme cold alerts to flooding, earthquake risks, etc.).
To be as effective as possible, we need the contact details of people with skills and/or specific equipment who could be called on in the municipality if needed. Please let the town hall know (by email, by phone, or during office hours with the elected officials or staff) if:
- you are a health professional (doctor, nurse, care assistant), practising or not;
- you speak a foreign language (other than German);
- you have equipment and/or tools useful in a natural disaster (digger and/or mini-digger, aerial work platform, generator, motor pump, etc.);
- you have skills or a trade that could help manage the situation (tree surgeon, electrician, roofer, bus driver, HGV driver, taxi, earthworks, etc.).
We also need to draw up a list of vulnerable people or people needing priority attention (difficulty getting around, no transport in case of evacuation, wheelchair, oxygen cylinders, living alone, etc.). Please let the town hall know. This information matters in an emergency, so that rescuers handling evacuations know which homes to go to and so that we can pay you particular attention.
MULTIFLUX COLLECTION

The collection of Thursday 26 December (bin with the burgundy lid) will be moved to Friday 27 December, and that of 2 January (bin with the yellow sticker) to Friday 3 January 2025.
SENIORS' CHRISTMAS MEAL

Now that the school works are finished, the traditional get-together can once again take place in the village hall. Please note that it will be held on 19 January 2025. Invitations will soon be handed out to everyone over 65. Anyone concerned who has not received an invitation should contact the town hall.
SEASON'S GREETINGS

The mayor, the municipal council and the municipal staff wish you happy holidays.
