In the heart of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, Eguelshardt is surrounded by forests, sandstone rocks and ponds. The trails below are waymarked and maintained by the Club Vosgien. They all start from the Étang de Hanau, about 3 km from the village, at the foot of Waldeck Castle.
For each route you will find the distance, the climb, an indicative time, a map and the track to download to your phone or GPS.
Several long-distance hiking trails also cross the area: the GR 532 (Mulhouse – Soultz-sous-Forêts), the Maginot Line Trail and the cross-border Tres Tabernae trail.
