Privacy policy

Updated

This is a translation; the French version is the legally binding one.

The Municipality of Eguelshardt takes your privacy seriously. This website has been designed to collect as little data as possible.

Data controller

Commune d’Eguelshardt, represented by its Mayor – 45, rue de l’Eglise, 57230 EGUELSHARDT – mairie@eguelshardt.org

What this website does not do

  • It uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
  • It uses no audience measurement, no advertising and no trackers.
  • It embeds no third-party content: fonts, images, videos and the map are hosted on the website itself. No data is therefore sent to Google, Facebook, YouTube or any other service when you view a page (apart from the delivery of the website, described below).
  • Search runs directly in your browser: your searches are not sent to the server.

Technical server logs

Like any website, the server automatically records technical logs for security and operational reasons: date and time, page requested, browser used. These logs do not contain your IP address. This data is not used for any other purpose, is not passed on to third parties and is kept for 15 days at most.

The server is located in Australia. As these logs contain no visitor IP addresses, they contain no data that could identify a visitor: no personal data is transferred outside the European Union this way.

Website delivery (Cloudflare)

For security and availability, the website is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), a service provider of the host. To deliver the pages to your browser and protect the website against attacks, Cloudflare necessarily processes your IP address and technical information about the connection. This processing is based on the Municipality’s legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. More information: Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
