SCHOOL LIFE

School started again on 1 September, after our third class was closed. This year the pupils are split into two groups. The nursery and CP (first year of primary) pupils are taught by Ms Kiffer, assisted by Ms Petrel, the ATSEM. The CE1 to CM2 pupils are taught by Ms Burgun and Ms Wagner.

We wish them a great school year!

1 September also marked the retirement of our ATSEM Isabelle, who hands over to Solène, who will now look after our youngest children! After Patricia's retirement in 2025, a page is turning. We warmly thank Isabelle for taking care of our children, drying their tears and helping each of them grow up with tenderness and kindness. Her creations, crafts, patience and dedication have contributed greatly to the children's development, and they are saying goodbye to their ATSEM with a great deal of emotion! We wish her a happy and well-deserved retirement!

Thank you in advance for taking part.

WALK

Walk

On 25 October 2026 the Inter-Association is organising a walk of about 10 km followed by a choucroute (sauerkraut) lunch. Start at 9am, meet at 8:45am at the shooting range.

Adults: €15, under 12: €7.50, under 6: free.

Lunch is also available for people not taking part in the walk.

Bookings with Bertrand Baldauf: 06 81 69 90 40.

BANNSTEIN NOW 50 KM/H

To make part of the road through Bannstein safer, this area has been classified as a built-up area since the summer, which lowers the speed limit to 50 km/h. Other sections also need safety improvements, and a study of the entrances to and the road through Eguelshardt village is under way.
