BENOIT'S RETIREMENT

After 23 years of good and loyal service to our municipality, retirement has come for Benoit. Through his professionalism he contributed every day to our well-being by monitoring and maintaining the drinking water network, the communal paths, the roads and the green spaces of our municipality. He was committed to beautifying our surroundings and to organising various events and making sure they ran smoothly. Each of us needed him at one time or another, he was always there for us, and for that we thank him very much.

Elodie Urban is ready to take over from him. A resident of our municipality and a technical agent in the municipality of Offwiller in Alsace since 2011, she left her post to join our municipality.

We thank Benoit once again for being so valuable to our municipality, wish him a happy new chapter in his life, and welcome Elodie to her new role!

COUNCIL MEETING OF 10 MARCH 2023 IN BRIEF

  1. RIFSEEP: Introduction of the allowance scheme taking into account the duties, constraints, expertise and professional commitment of municipal staff.
  2. Amendment to the CCPB statutes – optional « Health » competence: The local health diagnosis made it possible to identify health issues and local priorities taking into account the concerns of the population and of health professionals. As the area is in a Priority Intervention Zone according to ARS and CPAM data, Health becomes a priority theme. Following this finding, the Communauté des Communes has begun drawing up a Local Health Contract, a tool that will make it possible to address these questions and also to promote health issues more broadly: health prevention, mental health and disability, the ageing population, and the health of children, young people and families.
  3. Approval of the 2022 Management Accounts M14 – municipality.
  4. Approval of the 2022 Management Accounts M49 – water.
  5. Approval of the 2022 Administrative Accounts M14 – municipality.
  6. Approval of the 2022 Administrative Accounts M49 – water.
  7. Grant application – Thermal renovation of municipal buildings: Signing of an agreement with the Communauté des Communes for support with this application.
  8. Decommissioning of the presbytery: As part of our grant applications to the State, the Region and the Department for converting the presbytery into a classroom and after-school facility, we must attach a certificate of change of use of the presbytery, to be obtained after a favourable opinion from the Diocese of Metz. This procedure is added to the list of lengthy procedures already carried out by the Town Hall. We hope to be able to resolve the situation as quickly as possible so that the work can be carried out and the children can be welcomed in this building.
  9. Membership of the Amicale des Maires de Sarreguemines for 2023.
  10. Membership of the Association of Rural Mayors of the Moselle (AMR57) for 2023.
